Why Samuel built BNK Connect
Samuel Egheghe grew up in Benin City and built his understanding of business the hard way — watching skilled people work incredibly hard and still struggle to grow because the systems around them were never designed to support them properly.
When he moved into the South African market and saw how personal trainers, coaches, and service professionals were running their businesses — talented people managing everything across WhatsApp threads, screenshots, and manual bank transfers — he recognised the same pattern. The work was good. The infrastructure underneath it was not.
BNK Connect was built from that frustration. Not to add another app to the problem, but to build the operational foundation that skilled service providers in South Africa actually need.

BNK Connect is not trying to be everything to everyone at once.
We are building in stages, starting with the categories where the need for structure and operational clarity is already proven. Personal trainers are live now. Fitness studios and boutique gyms are next. Marketplace discovery and broader service categories follow as the network grows.
We are onboarding trainers personally, building with real product feedback, and expanding only when previous stage is working properly. That discipline is not a limitation. It is how durable platforms get built.
